Lampejo Ceramics
Lampejo, the Portuguese word for "flashing," refers to the moment when ceramic material solidifies in the kiln at 1240°C, emitting brief flashes of intense light through the gaps between the refractory bricks.
This process represents the culmination of merging thought and matter, concluding a cycle that begins with design concepts and involves modeling, natural drying, and glazing. For the Lampejo brand, we developed four collections that include vases, centerpieces, and moringa (water bottles), all inspired by elements of nature.
These items are entirely produced in our own atelier and originate from our passion for ceramics, one of the oldest production technologies.
Launched by Rochaferro in 2023.
